2012 Australasian Special Education Principals’ Conference
September 17th – 19th

This year’s annual WAESPAA conference is jointly hosted by the Australian Special Education Principals’ Association (ASEPA) and the Special Educations Principals’ Association New Zealand (SEPANZ).

The conference is being held at the Esplanade Hotel in Fremantle and is themed:
Lessons from the Past – Visions for the Future.

Available for download from the Carson Street School website, the booklet and DVD 'Getting Started!!! Using Visual Systems to Promote Communication'.

The booklet has been written for parents and discusses a range of visual systems they can use at home to develop their child's communication skills. Along with the booklet is a DVD which demonstrates the use of the visual styems discussed in the booklet. Although this resource is for parents it will also be useful for early childhood educators, child care staff, teachers, therapists etc.
